Welcome to Scullery to Skyline

Celebrating 40 Years of Sculpted Kitchen Design

Michael Whole, the founder of Scullery to Skyline, began this journey at Farnham Art School graduating with First Degree Honors in 1963. Followed by several years sculpting and exhibiting in St Ives, Cornwall. This led to teaching at Guildford College of Art 3D Design. During which time he exhibited at the Royal Academy and also got married. Then moving into self-employment, he discovered his fascination with three dimensional elements of kitchen design and in 1976 he completed the first project.

In 1984 Michael opened a kitchen gallery in a prestigious Hampshire village becoming well established and respected in the sixteen years to follow. In 2000 a re-evaluation of the business structure took place. 98% of the company's projects were repeat clientele or by recommendation only, this enabled relocation to Winchester, Hampshire working from home, which has been successful to this day.

"Michael’s proposal for the refitting of our utility room was head and shoulders above the other quote which I received. I had told Michael exactly what I wanted to use the utility room for and he provided detailed drawings which explicitly met my brief. The quality of the work is very good and the paint finish excellent."
“I only have good things to say about working with Michael and his team. From beginning to end they were professional, polite and most importantly skilled designers and craftsmen. We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen which is better than we could have imagined thanks to Michael’s great ideas and the fantastic finish achieved.”
"What a fantastic transformation!. Michael redesigned and worked his magic on our kitchen. Being a 15th century space it was no straight forward task working around the beams, but we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Thank you"
